Scope

This Part of GB/T 6324 specifies the instrument method that adopts the
principle that was determined by International Commission on Illumination (CIE)
in 1931, using X, Y, Z (tristimulus values) to express the color of clear liquid to
determine the color (expressed in platinum-cobalt color).
This Part is applicable to determine clarified, non-turbid liquid organic chemical
products of which the nominal platinum-cobalt color number is 0~100 and the
sample has similar absorption characteristics to the platinum-cobalt solution,
without fluorescence emission.
