Scope

This part of GB/T 5169 specifies a test method for finished products. It simulates thermal stress through an electric heat source to represent the fire hazard.
This test method is used to check. the ignition resistance of the finished product exposed to the electric heat source or the fire resistance after the ignition under the specified test conditions.
Flame spread ability. However, this section does not currently contain an analysis of the hazard of fire in the field of flammability and the spread of flames to other products.
This section is intended for the product committee to prepare in accordance with the principles set out in IEC Guide 104.2010 and ISO /IEC Guide 51.1999.
