1 Scope
This Standard specifies the limit on element content of lead, arsenic, cadmium,
mercury, fluorine and chlorine in iron ore, sampling, sample preparation as well
as determination methods.
This Standard is applicable to natural and processed iron ore for steel smelting.

4 Requirements for limit
4.1 The content of lead in iron ore (mass fraction) is not more than 0.60%.
4.2 The content of arsenic (mass fraction) in iron ore is not more than 0.45%.
4.3 The content of cadmium (mass fraction) in iron ore is not more than 0.40%.
4.4 The content of mercury (mass fraction) in iron ore is not more than 0.05%.
4.5 The content of fluorine (mass fraction) in iron ore is not more than 4.50%.
