Scope

This document specifies the types, dimensions, technical requirements, marking, labels,
and designation of reduced-shank hexagon head bolts with split pin hole on head.
This document applies to coarse-threaded hexagon head bolts with split pin hold on
head (hereinafter referred to as bolts) of thread specifications M6~M20, performance
grades 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, A2-50, and A2-70, shank diameter approximately equal to the
thread pitch diameter, and product grade B.
The bolts specified in this document have wire holes on head of products conforming
to GB/T 5784.
