Scope

This standard specifies the torque test and breaking torque values of bolts and
screws with a nominal diameter of 1 ~ 10 mm and a performance level of 8.8 ~
12.9 (GB 3098.1).
This standard applies to bolts and screws whose thread size is smaller than M3
and the minimum tensile load and guaranteed load are not specified in GB
3098.1, as well as the bolts and screws with a nominal diameter of 3 ~ 10 mm
whose length is too short to carry out the tensile test.
The breaking torque does not apply to hexagon socket set screws.

Summary This standard specifies the nominal diameter of 1 ~ 10mm, performance levels from 8. 8 to 12. 9 (GB 3098. 1) bolts and screws torque test and destruction torque values. This standard applies to the thread size is less than the M3, not specified in GB 3098. 1 minimum tensile load and proof load of bolts and screws; and nominal diameter 3 ~ 10mm, but the length is too short and can not be implemented tensile testing of bolts and screws. Torque does not apply to damage Hexagon set screws.
