Scope

This Document specifies the dimensional characteristics, contact distribution, testing and
requirements for a 7-pole electrical connector for the braking systems and running gears
between a towing and towed vehicles with a nominal voltage of 12 V. It also specifies a storage
socket for storing the plug when the plug and socket are separated.
