Scope
Adequate adhesion between components of a hose is the basis for the hose to performwell during use. This Standard specifies methods for the determination of the adhesion
between lining and reinforcement, between cover and reinforcement, between
reinforcement layers, between cover and outer lamination (thin layer of material
outside the cover for protection) and between lining and inner lamination (thin layer of
material inside the lining to reduce permeation of fluid into the lining).

Summary | This standard specifies hose inner lining and reinforcement, outer covering and reinforcement, between reinforcement, outer covering and outer covering (thin layer located outside the outer covering for protection), and inner lining and reinforcement. A method for measuring the adhesive strength between the lining layer (the thin layer located in the inner lining layer that reduces the penetration of fluid to the inner lining layer). This standard includes hoses of all sizes and includes the following types of hose structures: woven fabric; woven fabric; knitted fabric; circular woven fabric; fabric winding; cord fabric; steel wire weaving; steel wire winding; support spiral. To make the performance of the hose satisfactory, there should be sufficient adhesion between the various parts of the hose. |
