This standard applies to AC rated frequency 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz, rated voltage not exceeding 440 V, rated current not exceeding 125 A, operating function independent of supply voltage or with supply voltage related household and similar Residual current operated circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (hereinafter referred to as RCCB). This standard is applicable to a device capable of simultaneously performing the detection of residual current, comparing the residual current value with the residual operating current value, and disconnecting the protected circuit when the residual current exceeds the residual operating current value.
