Scope

This Standard specifies the categories of Polychlorinated Biphenyls-contaminated wastes,
as well as the entire process’ environmental protection requirements of the Polychlorinated
Biphenyls-contaminated wastes, such as the process of cleaning, collection, packaging,
transportation, temporary storage, storage and harmless treatment disposal.
This Standard is applicable to the pollution control and supervision and management of the
entire process of classification, harmless management and harmless disposal of
Polychlorinated Biphenyls-contaminated wastes.
For the wastes whose content of Polychlorinated Biphenyls is less than 50mg/kg, they shall
be performed the harmless management according to general industrial solid wastes.
