This Standard, using translation method, equivalently adopts ISO 105-A02.1993
“Textiles - Test for colour fastness - Part A02. Grey scale for assessing change in colour”
(English version) and its Technical Corrigendum 2.2005.
This Standard makes the following editable modifications.
- The term “this part of ISO 105” is replaced by “this Standard”;
- Forward of ISO 105-A02.1993 is deleted;
- The content of ISO 105-A02.2005-Technical Corrigendum 2 is integrated into the
relevant clauses.
This Standard replaces GB 250-1995 “Grey scale for assessing change in colour”.
Comparing this Standard with GB 250-1995, the main changes are shown as follows.
- Change the standard name to be “Textiles - Test for colour fastness - Grey scale
for assessing change in colour”;
- Change this Standard from mandatory standard to recommended standard;
- Add, when using grey scale, the surrounding field and covering material color’s
requirements.
This Standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of Basis Branch of National Textile
Standardization Technology Committee (SAC/TC 209/SC 1).
