Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 2982-2001 "Designation, dimensions inflation pressure
and load capacity of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles". Compared with GB/T
2982-2001, the main technical differences in this Standard are as follows.
- Add some common profile bias tyres (see Table 1, Table 2 of this Edition; Table 1,
Table 2 of Edition 2001);
- Add some common profile radial tyres (see Table 3 and Table 4 of this Edition;
Table 3 and Table 4 of Edition 2001);
- Add some low-profile bias tyres (Table 5 and Table 6 in this Edition; Table 5 and
Table 6 of Edition 2001);
- Add some metric series radial tyres (see Table 10 of this Edition; Table 10 of Edition
2001);
- Add some wide-base bias tyres (see Table 12 of this Edition; Table 12 of Edition
2001);
- Delete some common cross-profile bias tyres (Table 1 and Table 2 of Edition 2001);
- Revise the representation method of valve model (see Table 1, Table 3, Table 5,
Table 7, Table 9, Table 10, Table 11, Table 12, Table 13 of this Edition);
- Add new tyre profile width deviation and outer diameter deviation (see Table 1 and
Table 3 of this Edition);
- Add "NHS" after the tyre specification (see Table 1 to Table 10, Table 12, and Table
13 of this Edition);
- Measure the rim width instead of measuring the rim (see Table 1, Table 3, Table 5,
Table 7, Table 9, Table 10, Table 11, Table 12, Table 13 of this Edition);
- Modify the off-road pattern to deepen the pattern (see Table 1 of this Edition; Table
1 of Edition 2001);
- Modify the wide profile to the low-profile (see 3.2, Table 5~Table 8 of this Edition;
4.2, Table 5~Table 8 of Edition 2001);
- Add the corresponding relationship between load index and load capacity (see
Annex B).
This Standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
Designation, dimensions, inflation pressure and load
capacity of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions for pneumatic tyres for industrial
vehicles, the method of expressing tyre specifications, specifications, dimensions, air
pressure and load requirements, etc.
This Standard applies to new industrial vehicle pneumatic tyres such as
counterbalanced forklifts, tractors and flatbed trucks.
