Foreword
This Standard is revised based on International Pesticide Analysis
Collaborative Committee CIPAC MT 27 "Acetone insoluble matter
measurement method".
Main differences between this Standard and CIPAC MT 27 are as follows.
- conical flask and reflux condenser are directly matched without glass
interface, simplifying equipment;
- heat reflux is specified for 5 min to avoid decomposition of certain
pesticides for long heating time and to avoid errors caused by naked eye
observations;
- the specification of the sintered glass hoppers is unified with the domestic
model G;
- added the drying of the glass crucible funnel before filtration. It is required
to dry it in an oven at 110°C for 1 h to reach a constant weight.
This Standard was proposed by former National Petroleum and Chemical
Industry Bureau.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee
on Pesticides of Standardization Administration of China (CSBTS/TC 133).
The drafting organization of this Standard. Department of Applied Chemistry,
China Agricultural University.
Main drafters of this Standard. Li Nan, Pan Canping, Nan Ruiran, Qian
Chuanfan.
This Standard was issued for the first time.
Testing method of in acetone
material insoluble for pesticides
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the determination of acetone material insoluble in
pesticide original drug products.
2 Inspection method
2.1 Method summary
An appropriate amount of sample is dissolved with acetone. The insoluble is
filtered hot and dried. Acetone insoluble content is calculated as the mass
fraction of solid insoluble.
2.2 Reagents
Acetone. analytically pure.
2.3 Instruments
2.3.1 Standard stoppered conical flask. 250mL;
2.3.2 Reflux condenser;
2.3.3 Glass sand heart funnel type G3;
2.3.4 Tapered suction bottle. 500mL;
2.3.5 Oven;
2.3.6 Glass dryer;
2.3.7 Water bath.
2.4 Steps
Dry the glass sand heart hopper (110°C for about 1h) to constant weight (to the
nearest of 0.0002g). Put it into the dryer and cool it for use. Weigh 10g of sample
(to the nearest of 0.0002g). Place in Erlenmeyer flask. Add 150mL of acetone
and shake to try to dissolve the sample. Then install a reflux condenser and
heat it to boiling in a hot water bath. Stop heating after 5 min from boiling. Equip
