Foreword
GB/T 22085 Electron and Laser Beam Welded Joints – Guidance on Quality Levels for
Imperfections consists of the following two parts:
--- Part 1: Steel;
--- Part 2: Aluminum and its weldable alloy.
This Part is Part 2 of GB/T 22085.
This Part equivalently adopts ISO 13919-2:2001 Welding – Electron and Laser Beam Welded Joints
– Guidance on Quality Levels for Imperfections – Part 2: Aluminum and its Weldable Alloys
(English Version).
This Part equivalently translated ISO 13919-2:2001. For the benefit of use, this Part made the
following editorial modifications:
--- Delete the Foreword of the international standard;
--- Change the standard name into Electron and Laser Beam Welded Joints – Guidance on
Quality Levels for Imperfections – Part 2: Aluminum and its Weldable Alloy;
--- For other international standards cited in ISO 13919-2:2001, if they are equivalently adopted
as Chinese standards, the corresponding international standards will be replaced by Chinese
standards;
--- Combine the “Instructions” of ISO 13919-2:2001 into Annex A.
The Annex A of this Part is informative.
This Part was proposed by and under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Welding
of Standardization Administration of China.
Drafting organizations of this Part: Harbin Welding Institute.
Chief drafting staffs of this Part: Pu Dongguang, Wang Xuyou, Lei Zhen, and Wang Wei.
Electron and Laser Beam Welded Joints – Guidance on
Quality Levels for Imperfections – Part 2: Aluminum and Its
Weldable Alloys
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 22085 specifies guidance on levels of imperfections in electron and laser beam
welded joints in aluminum and its alloys.
This Part applies to the aluminum and its alloys with thickness of 1mm above.
2 Normative References
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in
this Part of GB/T 22085. For dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrigendum)
or revisions do not apply to this Part, however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Part
are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated
references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies.
