This Standard replaces GB/T 200-2003 “Moderate Heat Portland Cement Low
Heat Portland Cement Low Heat Port”. As compared with GB/T 200-2003, the
main changes of this Standard are as follows.
- The standard’s name is changed to “Moderate-heat portland cement, low-
heat portland cement”;
- Changed from the mandatory standard to the recommended standard;
- DELETE the variety of “low heat port”;
- DELETE the industrial by-product gypsum and Class A natural gypsum in
“gypsum”, and the “grinding aid” under “Composition of low heat port” (SEE
Chapter 4; 4.1, 4.4, and 4.5 of the 2003 version);
- ADD Class M natural gypsum (SEE 4.3; 4.4 of the 2003 version);
- ADD the strength grade 32.5 low-heat portland cement (SEE Chapter 5);
- ADD technical requirements for insoluble matters in cement (SEE 6.1.4);
- ADD technical requirements for tricalcium aluminate, tricalcium silicate, and
dicalcium silicate in cement, as selection indexes (SEE 6.3);
- ADD the technical requirement of 90 d compressive strength for low-heat
portland cement, as a type inspection item (SEE 6.4.5);
- MODIFY the calculation formula for mineral composition (SEE Appendix A;
4.2.3 of the 2003 version).
This Standard was proposed by China Building Materials Federation.
